Pre-Admission Screening Registration Guidelines for 2024/2025 Academic Session

Who Can Apply?

The Kwara State University of Education (KWASUED) is pleased to announce its pre-admission screening registration for UTME and Direct Entry candidates for the 2024/2025 academic year. Candidates who fall under the following categories are encouraged to apply:

• Applicants who selected KWASUED as their first choice institution on the JAMB platform.
• Applicants intending to make KWASUED their preferred choice. Such candidates must change their institution of choice to KWASUED on the JAMB portal before completing the screening registration.

Eligible candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant O’level subjects, obtained in no more than two sittings. Those who are awaiting their O’level results may also register but must ensure their results are available before the admission process concludes.

Registration Fee

A screening fee of ₦3,000 (non-refundable) is required to complete the registration process.

Step-by-Step Registration Procedure

1. Go to http://portal.kwasued.edu.ng and click on "Click here to apply".
2. Select the "Undergraduate" option on the top menu bar.
3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click on "Continue".
4. Fill in the required personal information (valid email and phone number are mandatory), then proceed by clicking "Next".
5. Review your payment details and click on "Make Payment" to proceed to the payment gateway.
6. Provide your ATM card details (MasterCard or Visa) and complete the payment.
7. Input the One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your phone and continue.
8. Once payment is successful, return to the portal home page and click on "Main login".
9. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number and your surname as the password.
10. Click on "Login to dashboard" to finalize your registration.
11. Print your completed registration form and payment receipt for record-keeping.

Troubleshooting Payments

If you encounter issues during payment and are debited without a successful transaction, you can re-query the payment. To do so:

• Enter your JAMB Registration Number and phone number on the portal.
• Press the Tab key to display the re-query option below the page.
• Click to re-query your failed payment attempt.

Important Admission Information

Admission into any academic programme at KWASUED is subject to meeting the required UTME/DE cut-off marks for the university and the selected course of study, as well as the availability of slots within the NUC-approved admission quota.

It is important to note that the submission of falsified documents, including citizenship certificates, will lead to automatic disqualification and potential legal action.
